GRAND ARTISTRY MASTER CLASSES

Grand Artistry Inspires, Inc. works with schools to deliver master classes that enhance students' performance skills through hands-on activities and technique exercises. The classes are conducted by professional performing artists, many who work on Broadway shows, alongside celebrities, or perform at prestigious theaters. The master classes serve as an opportunity for students to grow, practice, and learn from different professional performing artists, offering an opportunity that students may otherwise not be exposed to. The master classes include skills-building exercises whereby students learn a song, a dance routine, or acting scene and receive an evaluation from the professional guest artist. The constructive feedback provided by the guest instructor offers perspective, and provides students an opportunity to integrate the feedback in real time alongside their peers. Additionally, during the workshop students join a sit-down talk session to learn various business aspects of navigating the performance industry including: auditioning, networking, branding, and photo headshots, as well as receive personal tips on finding authenticity as an artist, overcoming creative roadblocks, and maximizing productivity.

Grand Artistry Inspires believes that it is important to expose students to a variety of working professionals from whom they can receive perspective, inspiration, mentorship, and guidance. Our master classes are a safe space for teens to learn within their community of peers and familiar school setting, while experiencing new instruction from artists of various backgrounds, styles, and locations.

Each master class consists of a :

  • Group warm-up,
  • Group Exercise,
  • Peer-to Peer Performance,
  • Feedback from the guest instructor,
  • Sit-down talk, and
  • Group Picture photo-up with guest instructor.

"The master class had a profound impact on my students, offering them not only advanced technical skills, but also an invaluable experience of artistic growth. Through direct engagement with a seasoned professional, they developed deeper body awareness, enhanced creative expression, and a renewed passion for dance. This opportunity broadened their understanding of dance genres, empowering them to push their boundaries and elevate their performance. The class fostered an inspiring environment of collaboration and self-discovery." - Theresa Coleman, Rosa Parks High School, Dance Teacher
